Witness three of BC's finest post-metal bands: Empress, Druin, and The Monarch bring a night of swirling atmosphere and immense riffing to The Cobalt on Saturday, October 3rd.

Empress, Vancouver's favourite post-metal/blackened sludge band since 2017, punctuate hypnotic song structures with heavy, ear-worm riffs. Empress conjure a crushing and psychedelic atmosphere with unmatched stage presence.

The Monarch, Nanaimo's signature post-metal quartet is as enthralled with down tuned riffing as they are with drenching a room in ambient washes, full of reverence for delay and reverb. Don't miss their Vancouver debut!
